Mark-I think too much. Usually it’s in my own database, or a big fat folder on my laptop. Time to spread the love :) I’ve started my own wiki elsewhere to keep a wholistic model which mirrors my own brain, but that’s so very rational.. This blog is an attempt to let out my human affections and struggles with life, love, truth & perception: my experience of life.

Having accomplished my previous life-goal of getting across the pond over to Deutschland und Oesterreich, I’ve recently realized my life-goal will be to habilitate the church to consider and to display how the truth of Jesus gives the answer to and is the framework for the philosophical (logical & ideological) influences which it bows down to, is bullied by and unknowingly accepts. And lately, the path to that end has had a strongly anthropological/sociological turn.

So here’s to the next decade of studying Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, Boethius, Aquinas, Calvin, Kant, Hegel, Kierkegaard, Marx, Levinas, Husserl, Derrida, Baudrillard and Habermas.

Carmen- I think a lot, too. I grew up in Georgia, but my accent’s not too thick. I majored in Spanish, travelled a bit, and somehow the Medical College of Georgia’s admission committee thought I was interesting, so let me in to medical school, leading to my current goal- to pass and get a job! I do think I’ll enjoy being a doctor, figuring things out, helping people, but there’s definitely a lot more to me. My first loves are food, wine, travelling, reading, and music. I’ve been told i have a very “eastern” outlook on life, which is probably true since I value serenity, balance, and good tea. For me, here’s to seeing the world and making friends to have dinner and conversation with.
